      Grades 9-12 Another take on villainess reincarnation, this fun exploration of a popular trope leans heavily into fantasy elements. One day, the stunning Luciana remembers that she is, in fact, the villainess of an otome (dating simulation) game she played in her past life. Determined to avoid the miserable fate foretold in the game, Luciana decides the best course of action is simply to avoid all romantic attachments. But of course, the romanceable targets all find Luciana irresistible, and this first volume demonstrates how Luciana's changed behavior and mysterious magical abilities begin to lure in men who once found her loathsome. This manga's use of magical combat is surprisingly in-depth, and its deeper lore gives it a decent hook. The artwork has a floaty, ethereal look that suits the magical setting quite well. A perfect selection for readers who loved My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! and I Was Reincarnated as the Villainess in an Otome Game but the Boys Love Me Anyway!
