      Toribio (known as the Astrology Dirtbag to the 200,000 followers of his astrological Instagram account @gnarlyastrology) presents an introductory volume on astrology that presents a profile of each Zodiac sign, its relationship to the sun and moon, and its role in one's natal chart. The latter is the map of the planets and heavens as positioned during one's birth. The profiles of each sign include examples of beliefs, behaviors, preferences, emotions and tendencies. There are examples of how the signs interact with each other, as well as a helpful explanation of Mercury in Retrograde. The chapters can be read in order or browsed sign by sign; they are also organized by sun and moon dominance. For Toribio, astrology is about empathy, and learning to relate to one another more successfully. His direct language, peppered with curse words as adjectives and chock full of pop culture references, accomplishes this by catapulting the clich�d image of a mystic hippie fortune teller into an evolved, modern-day human who wants to be their best self and have fun while doing it.
