      The intended suspense falls flat in this racy sequel to Sweet the Sin. Artist Kelly Watson is determined to bring her father’s killer to justice before her mother succumbs to cancer. She suspects that Caleb Marshall, the CEO of her father’s former employer, was involved with his death; naturally, she decides to seduce some information out of him. Caleb is charming, rich, handsome, and unaware of Kelly’s identity. Since she was adopted, he has no idea that her birth father is the subject of one of his deepest, darkest secrets. He’s grown to love the person he thinks she is and is ready to give her his all. The more Kelly spends time with him and indulges in his erotic life, the quicker her heart forgets he’s the enemy. The constant sexual interludes leave little room for any relationship or plot development, and there’s not enough backstory to get new readers up to speed.
