(The Rainbow (Selected translation masterwork))

ebook

(The Rainbow is one of two masterpieces of D·H Lawrence (the other one is the companion piece Women in Love), known as the longest one among his novels. The Rainbow starts with a description of the Brangwen dynasty, and tells the experience and changes of three generations of the Brangwen family; this book focuses on sexual psychology problems in depth with unprecedented passion among all British novels and seeks to establish the natural and harmonious sexual relationship through the normal and unusual sexual intercourse of three generations. Lawrence considers "This novel is no lack of fresh sense in art" as a research on sexual relationship. This novel, full of poetic quality and flavor, has a symbolic meaning and sense of beauty, known as one of greatest long literary pieces in the 20th century. )
